Wrapping paper or gift bags? Wrapping Paper

2. Real tree or Artificial? Artificial... maybe someday we'll try a real one.
3. When do you put up the tree? Sometime in early December.
4. When do you take the tree down? Within a few days after Christmas.
5. Do you like eggnog? No!
6. Favorite gift received as a child? My iPhone... oh wait, that was last year!
7. Hardest person to buy for? Rick
8. Easiest person to buy for? The kids.
9. Do you have a nativity scene? Yep- I could finally justify buying the Little People Nativity scene. For the kids... :)
10. Mail or email Christmas cards? Mail... when we can get a good picture of all three kids!
11. Worst Christmas gift you ever received? I can't think of one.
12. Favorite Christmas movie. National Lampoons Christmas Vacation and It's a Wonderful Life
13. When do you start shopping? November
14. Have you ever recycled a Christmas present? No
15. Favorite things to eat at Christmas? Fudge!!!
16. Lights on the tree? We have built in white lights on our artificial tree...
17. Favorite Christmas song. Silent Night
18.Travel at Christmas or stay home? This year we're traveling to the Tri-Cities for "real" Christmas with both sides of my family. We've always stayed here in the past.
19. Can you name all of Santa's reindeer? I think so...
20. Angel on the tree top or a star? We used to have a moving Santa thing, but I'm hoping to get a star this year!
21. Open the presents Christmas Eve or morning? As a kid it was always Eve for our family. Then Eve with mom and Day with dad after the divorce. Then Day with Rick's family. This year it will be Eve with my mom and Day with my dad again in the Tri-Cities. Confusing, I know.
22. Most annoying thing about this time of the year? The crowds while shopping.
23. Favorite ornament theme or color? Don't have one... I guess I like ornaments with memories attached to them, like our "Baby's First Christmas" ones for the kids or other ones we've gotten on vacations and stuff. I like remembering when putting them on the tree!
24. Favorite for Christmas dinner? I have good memories of ham with my family growing up and Rick's family has done prime rib the past couple of years. I think we're getting a seafood chowder with my mom and stepdad this year (a tradition of theirs), so that will be good! (Lisa, what are Nut Fingers? A southern thing?)
25. What do you want for Christmas this year? I want to enjoy the holiday through the eyes of our kids this year and to enjoy the time with family.
26. Who is most likely to respond to this? I hope some fellow bloggers will take part!

27.Who is least likely to respond to this?
Busy people.

Nutfingers are a cookie. Like shortbread with pecans in it covered in powdered sugar. I don't know if it's a southern thing or a family recipe. (Or it may just be a family name for a cookie everyone makes.) I've never had them anywhere but at my mom and dad's house. I've never even made them. I could, it's just more special to have them do it, makes me feel like a kid at home again. I'll see if I have a copy of the recipe to send you. =)
