"You have a baby... in a bar."

Does anyone else love "Sweet Home Alabama" as much as I do? Especially the scene in the bar where the above question is asked- and answered "This one's still on the tit, so I pretty much bring him/her everywhere." That sentence pretty much sums up my BFF status with Cooper lately. Although he's never been to a bar, he was a month old yesterday and he's already caught his first cold (thanks Riley and Tyson!), been out to dinner at Red Lobster, Old Spaghetti Factory (twice), and Macaroni Grill (among others), been to two movies at the theater (date nights with Rick and I), gone Christmas shopping all over town, and attended 3 Master's level college classes (the instructor and other students have been great about it!). This kid has got it made- and our other two are getting the shaft lately. Thank goodness they love Jordan, the babysitter, so much! I'm looking forward to introducing the bottle this week and gaining a little bit of freedom back. Just in time too, I have a 3 hour test I have to take on Saturday and I'm pretty sure the Oregon State testing officials wouldn't allow a 30 minute nursing break...

Hysterical...love the movie. And yes, I can not see you having Cooper in a bar, but I am jealous of all the places you've got to eat lately! :) ~Heather

Cooper is quite the experienced young man, i must say! I'm still amazed at how you do all that you do. To continue our parallel lives: Lindsey has a horrible cold, too! Thick yellow snot and all! I hate it for her. And really jealous of the date nights! Although I do have one coming up on the 13th for Josh's work's big bash. I've got to try on dresses and hope something works. I don't want to go spend a lot of cash on an in-between cocktail dress!

Funny Story (and I promise, not trying to one up you!) When Natalie was 5 or 6 months old I took her to a bar. Seriously. Only it was closed for a private family-friendly party that we went to. She was the youngest kid there by at least 5 or 6 years. She did love the neon lights! All I could think about while we were there was that movie!

Since I don't have your real email address and this is about Babies in Bars:
When you do formula, what will Cooper drink?
I've got several samples of Enfamil Lipil (yellow label) that we can't use because of Lindsey's milk allergy. All my friends here are using Similac. Can you use it for Cooper? Email me at lisa.cauthen@gmail.com and give me your address if you want them. =) Otherwise, I might try to sell them on ebay or something crazy!
